Restores Vitality • Rejuvenates Energy • Boosts Physical Performance • Increases Libido

150 each 500 mg capsules

Known in Chinese TCM & Indian Ayurveda for centuries, Tribulas terrestris is a safe & effective organic alternative health food supplement
for the treatment and prevention of various ailments including;

• cardiovascular diseases,
• diabetes II,
• improving sexual function
• physical endurance.
It contains novel organic plant nutrients that provide;
natural hepatoprotective,
• antioxidant,
• anti-inflammatory,
• antibacterial,
• antiaging,
• antitumor properties.

• Improves sexual function & increased desire for both men & women

• Improves fertility & increases epididymal sialic acid, seminal vesicular fructose, serum testosterone, and antioxidant enzymes [superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), and glutathione peroxidase-1 (GPx) (sperm motility) for men.

• Firms body weight/mass, sex organ relative weights, sperm count, and motility

• Improves athletic ability

The organic plant ingredients; gitonin, protodioscin, and tribulo-saponins A and B, are believed to mimic testosterone-like effects in humans because of the similarities of their chemical structures. The cognate receptor of testosterone is AR. IGF-1 and is directly related to muscle mass, conservation of the musculoskeletal system, the metabolic rate, and muscle strength. GSTT significantly improves exercise performance due to changes in the androgen–AR axis and IGF-1R.

• Libido-enhancing a safe alternative treatment for (HSDD) hypoactive sexual desire disorder in postmenopausal women because of its effectiveness in reducing undesirable menopause symptoms with few side effects.

Tribulas terrestris has a luteinizing effect on ovarian cysts, which may relate to its gonadotropin-like activity; also, higher doses of the extract can efficiently remove ovarian cysts and resume ovarian activity.

• Increases antidiabetic activity (Chronic hyperglycemia)

Supports cardiovascular health. The gross saponins (GSTT) demonstrate inhibitory activity against a-glucosidase and provide inhibition activities of a postprandial (occurring or done after a meal) increase in blood glucose, improvement in insulin dependent diabetes symptoms and assists in the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases such as heart attack.
GSTT has a neuro-protective effect on cerebral ischaemia (stroke) injury and improves coronary flow, healthy heart function and increased adenosine triphosphate (ATP) activity in myocardial ischaemia (blockage of coronary arteries) and IRI reperfusion injury.

• Hepatoprotective activity

GSTT heals injured liver cells and has a protective effect on acute hepatic injury. The hepatoprotective (liver cleanse) activity may be related to the antioxidant content, the influence of metabolism regulation and the repression of apoptosis of liver cells. Most forms of chronic liver diseases are associated with the accumulation of damaged mitochondria responsible for abnormal reactive oxygen species (ROS) formation, glutathione (GSH) depletion, protein alkylation,and respiratory complex alterations.

• Antitumor

Research indicates the anticancer mechanism of terrestrosin D was detected by observing in vitro Caspase-3 activity and vascular endothelial growth factor secretion and the in vivo anticancer effect of the PC-3 xenograft mouse model. It was concluded that terrestrosin D inhibited tumor growth through the inhibition of tumor angiogenesis. In addition, GSTT has a preventive efficacy against UVB-induced carcinogenesis.

• Antibacterial

As an anti-fungi agent, Tribulas terrestris effectively treats various bacteria such as Candida albicans. The gross sapponins (GSTT) may also function through direct binding to sterol on the cell membrane and may inhibit ERG gene expression in Bacillus cereus, Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus mutans, Streptococcus sanguis, Actinomyces viscosus, Enterococcus faecalis, Staphylococcus aureus, and Escherichia coli. The ERG gene encodes for a protein, also called ERG, that functions as a transcriptional regulator. Genes in the ETS family regulate embryonic development, cell proliferation, differentiation, angiogenesis, inflammation, and apoptosis)

• Antioxidant

Clinical research indicates the antioxidant effect of gross saponins (GSTT) is excellent and improves SOD ('superoxide dismutase' are a group of enzymes that catalyze the dismutation of superoxide radicals (O2-) to molecular oxygen (O2) and hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), providing cellular defense against reactive oxygen species) activity and MDA (MDA is a widely used marker of oxidative lipid injury caused by environmental stress) content for chronically high intraocular pressure (fluid presssure within the eyes) in lab studies. Compared with the ethanolic extraction, the butanol extract (1 mg ml-1) is rich in saponin and had notable quenching of nitric oxide (30%), hydroxyl radicals (02%), and hydrogen peroxide radicals (89%). Diosgenin from the callus of Tribulas terrestris is known to have great antioxidant activity.

The traditional pharmacological activities of Tribulas terrestris focused on improving sexual function and cardiotonic properties. Modern investigation showed that steroidal saponins and flavonoids with the prominent antiaging and anti-inflammatory activities were the main contributors to the traditional pharmacological activities.
